In my third year of studies, my internship took place at THK EIPIC Centre @ Woodlands from March 2021 to September 2021, for a period of 22 weeks. I was attached to 4 classes of 27 toddlers (3 to 4 years old).

What I did:

Assist lead teachers in performing routine care, toileting, and dressing

Assist lead teachers in termly decoration of classroom theme boards

Collaborate with occupational therapist to make alphabetical and numerical home-based learning materials and take-home kits to support the learning of the children with respect to their goals

Collect present level of performance and progress monitoring using a variety of documentation methods

Make physical teaching aids and eresource to support the learning of the children with respect to their goals

Plan and conduct activities according to classroom theme and children's goals

Propose field trip plan to KidsSTOP Science Centre with family-friendly activities
